The Long Tail

The long tail is a theory which looks at the economy and cultural increase and focuses on the  relatively small number (mainstream products and markets). The longer the tail the more niche target audience there is. It helps people identify the amount of niche target audience there is. The long tail could be used for anything which is linked in getting the attention of a target audience it is mainly used in media such as magazines and TV shows. Media is not becoming on the increase and is in demand people now what the media as fast as they can which has now resulted to many different changes such as apps on I phones which allow people to view the news and downloading music from an I phone app straight onto a persons phone.
